A Pieceful Life

I'm so glad that you stopped by, and hope that you enjoy your visit. Here you will find pieces of my life - quilting, cross-stitch, family, travel, friends.
My name is Peg - I am a 60ish wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend - and if we're not already related or friends, hope to become your friend too.
We live in the eastern end of the beautiful Fraser Valley, about 1.5 hours east of Vancouver, BC. Empty nesters, we have one son living just a few minutes away, our other son and daughter live in Alberta.
Comments are always welcome, always read - and answered if need be. Feel free to share, I love hearing from all my cyber-space friends.
Please do check out some of the links in my side-bar - you'll find other bloggers and fabulous people to visit.

The Reception

From grocery shopping, to setting up accommodations, to putting up tents, stringing lights, decorating, arranging flowers, preparing food, barbecuing, greeting guests, feeding everybody – and almost last but not least – presenting the quilt – the reception weekend was a success.  We had a little mishap with rain collecting in one corner and dumping down inside the tent, but that was before everybody arrived.  The weather was cool, but at least didn’t rain during the hours of the party itself.  It seemed a good time was had by all.

Here’s my first attempt at a slideshow:

  1. Peg, what a great slideshow! Well done, I wouldnt know where to begin.
I love your tables, they look so pretty. Were those sunflowers that you used?
    and...the cupcakes! Super!

  2. Great job Mom. Thank you again and again for all of your hard work, organization and efforts. We couldn't have pulled this off without you and "all our Moms" (Dad's too of course!)
Love you incredibly. A and J.
