A Pieceful Life

A Pieceful Life

I'm so glad that you stopped by, and hope that you enjoy your visit. Here you will find pieces of my life - quilting, cross-stitch, family, travel, friends.
My name is Peg - I am a 60ish wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend - and if we're not already related or friends, hope to become your friend too.
We live in the eastern end of the beautiful Fraser Valley, about 1.5 hours east of Vancouver, BC. Empty nesters, we have one son living just a few minutes away, our other son and daughter live in Alberta.
Comments are always welcome, always read - and answered if need be. Feel free to share, I love hearing from all my cyber-space friends.
Please do check out some of the links in my side-bar - you'll find other bloggers and fabulous people to visit.

Wednesday’s Words

There’s something magical about this season of the year.  The candles, the decorations, the lights, the anticipation, gifts and secrets.

Yes, they all come together to create a sense of wonder and awe in people of all ages.

We went out a few days ago to take a look at how some homes are magically transformed to celebrate this season.

From classical simplicity013

To a statement of cheeriness

To an absolute wonderland

Enjoy the magic!     Blessings, Peg

  1. How right your are. Went down to the Baptist church to get a shot of the live Nativity scene. Batteries on my camera were down. Oh well. It makes me proud to see we are allowed to have those things up. Blessings

  2. Beautiful photos - such lovely times at Christmas.

  3. There are some pretty spectacular decorated homes around here too... 8-)

  4. BTW- thanks for your comment on my Sepia Saturday. Once I started on the Jones family I found it all. Mr. Jones had passed before I put it all together though. But we have it now.
