A Pieceful Life

A Pieceful Life

Welcome

I'm so glad that you stopped by, and hope that you enjoy your visit. Here you will find pieces of my life - quilting, cross-stitch, family, travel, friends.
My name is Peg - I am a 60ish wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend - and if we're not already related or friends, hope to become your friend too.
We live in the eastern end of the beautiful Fraser Valley, about 1.5 hours east of Vancouver, BC. Empty nesters, we have one son living just a few minutes away, our other son and daughter live in Alberta.
Comments are always welcome, always read - and answered if need be. Feel free to share, I love hearing from all my cyber-space friends.
Please do check out some of the links in my side-bar - you'll find other bloggers and fabulous people to visit.

Wednesday’s Words

Anticipation

After all of the Christmas excitement, and reliving and making new memories – it’s time now to look ahead.  Anticipating all of the wonderful times in the New Year is always so exciting to me.
First up – we’re headed to Hawaii – this is our first trip there, and we’re so excited to visit a new place, and experience new people and culture.
More travel is also planned, including a trip through northern BC and into the Yukon in June.
Then there are tentative plans to travel south through Palm Springs, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon
– meeting some family in New Mexico for the Balloon festival in October

– then hopefully on from there to visit friends in Oklahoma.
Some possible changes for our children – Ms Student will finish her first degree in April, Mr Soccer is looking at starting a Master’s degree, Ms Butterfly and Surferdude are thinking of making a move back to BC,  Mr Strongman just bought a house this past fall and has plans to do some renos and up-dating, Doc K is involved with helping to plan her sister’s wedding.
All is good – all looks wonderful!
A happy New Year to you all – may God bless you richly!
Blessings, Peg
