A Pieceful Life

A Pieceful Life

I'm so glad that you stopped by, and hope that you enjoy your visit. Here you will find pieces of my life - quilting, cross-stitch, family, travel, friends.
My name is Peg - I am a 60ish wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend - and if we're not already related or friends, hope to become your friend too.
We live in the eastern end of the beautiful Fraser Valley, about 1.5 hours east of Vancouver, BC. Empty nesters, we have one son living just a few minutes away, our other son and daughter live in Alberta.
Comments are always welcome, always read - and answered if need be. Feel free to share, I love hearing from all my cyber-space friends.
Please do check out some of the links in my side-bar - you'll find other bloggers and fabulous people to visit.

A Worthy Cause–and Maybe a Go!

Just read about this on Poppyprint so went over here to check it out.55100
Tracy is giving away a Go! cutter, and using the opportunity to promote Quilt Hope In.   A great place to donate ‘extra’ quilts – a great way to use up those fabrics that have been sitting in your stash for a while waiting for just the right project.
Haiti is especially dear to my heart for two reasons: our son and then-girlfriend (now wife) went there for a short-term missions trip to help with a building project; Grizz and I were in Dominican Republic (same island) for a vacation last year so I have some ideas of the culture and living conditions – before all the disasters.
Won’t you join me in quilting for the kids!           And maybe you’ll be the next owner of a Go! cutter.
Happy contest entry!       Blessings, Peg
